The General English Programme of the Faculty of Medicine and Allied Sciences consists of two courses of studies: The foundation course in English and the Compulsory General English Proficiency Course. The foundation course in English is conducted by the faculty DELT center for the newly enrolled medical students for a period of 08 weeks during which speaking, Reading and Writing Skills of the students are improved and students shall sit the end-course Examination conducted.
The Compulsory General English Proficiency Course is conducted during the first and the second academic years and an end-course Examination is held parallel to the 2nd MBBS Examination.
