In response to growing interest in Japanese culture around the world, Universities in Japan and overseas are focusing not only on Japanese language education as language education, but also on learning and experiencing Japanese contemporary and traditional culture. Based on this situation, the theme of the symposium is “Japanese culture and Japanese language education” with the aim of sharing the current situation and issues of Japanese language education, deepening mutual understanding, and developing education and research of Japanese language and culture together.
