Mrs. Hiruni Samarasinghe

Biography 

Hiruni Samarasinghe is a Lecturer (Transitional) in French and currently attached to the Department of Languages of Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of Rajarata University of Sri Lanka. She was previously employed as a Temporary lecturer in French at the Department of Modern Languages of Faculty of Humanities of University of Kelaniya. She received her primary education from Sri Bodhi Vidyala, Gampaha and continued her secondary education in Viharamaha Devi Balika Vidyalaya, Kiribathgoda and in Devi Balika Vidyalaya, Colombo. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Degree in French with a second class upper devision from University of Kelaniya.

• Professional experices on Moodle Based Course Development, workshop at University of Colombo (2019)
• Worked as a French language course designer- designed a new French Syllabus to enhance students’ capabilities to use French language in the field of Tourism(Department of Tourism and Hospitatlity Management, Faculty of Management studies, Rajarata University)-2019
