Ms.K.B.G. Wayani Saumya Kariyawasam

Biography

Wayani Kariyawasam is a Lecturer (Visiting) in Chinese and is currently affiliated with the Department of Languages of the Rajarata University of Sri Lanka. She was previously employed as a Temporary Lecturer and Visiting Lecturer in Chinese at the Department of Modern Languages of the University of Kelaniya. She has completed her Master’s degree at Chongqing Normal University, China, and completed her Bachelor’s degree with first class at the University of Kelaniya. Her research interests focus on teaching and learning Chinese as a foreign language.
