Biography

Ven Pusselle Wineetha Thero was born on 8th May 1988 in Kurunegala. He completed his primary education at Vidyodaya Pirivena in Maligakanda Colombo. He has a Bachelor of Arts in the English with a first class and a Master of Education in TESL. He is currently reading for his second master in Linguistic at University of Kelaniya,

Ven. P. Wineetha is working as lecturer in English at the department of Languages, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka and previously served as a lecturer at NIIBS, Kelaniya. He is the Chief Resident Monk at Ti-Ratana Lumbini Garden and the Principal of Ti-Ratana Lumbini Garden Sunday Dhamma School in Malaysia. He is also designated as a permanent resident monk of Buddhist Maha Vihara in Malaysia which internationally propagates Buddhism in English. Ven. P. Wineetha, internationally Known as Bhante Wineetha   has achieved several academic achievements both in English studies and Buddhist studies. Writing  Poems being a member of Poetry Soup Association of English Poets, Teaching Applied Linguistics, translation studies are some of his interests.
